It has taken me a bit of time, but as a new mommy time is something that passes by so quickly, to post these pictures of Leighton. She was born on May 27th, which makes her officially 3 weeks today! Happy 3 week birthday baby girl!!! I was able to get some shots of her on her 2 week birthday, but I still have a million more that I want to get. Hopefully I can get some more done today! (Hopefully) I posted a picture of her laying on her changing table below the canvas that my sister painted for her! It matches her bedding to a T. Which reminds me to take a picture of the canvas and bedding beside each other. I keep forgetting to do that!

Well enough rambling….here is Leighton….

Absolutely love this family!!! You might recognize them from a few other shoots……maybe the words “blue bicycle” rings a bell? A lot of people seem to remember that one. Well this family of three became a family of four in February! GUS is the newest addition!
Once again THANK YOU a million times over for asking me to capture these memories for you. I adore your whole family and I hope you know that. I also hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Miss Ava-gator-boots herself is ONE YEARS OLD! Okay so she turned one on December 23rd, but she was living in Arizona then and now she is a Michigander again! YIPPEE! Ava is definitely the little babe that helped it all start for me! Thank you boots! Back in the day when my DH was a backdrop holder. hee hee Can’t wait to see you all again in a few weeks and see your new home!!!

My first thought when I saw Kael (pronounced Kayl….I LOOOOVE his name!) was “OH MY GOSH! HE IS ADORABLE!” Don thought he was very cute too and was excited to see some of his pictures.
When I first arrived he was a little unsure of me. He just wanted to watch everything I did, so I took extra long getting my camera out and ready. But once I did….he hammed it up! So adorable!

I haven’t announced this yet on the site, but it is starting to become common knowledge, and although I feel bad using a sneak peek to announce it, but….. we’re having a GIRL! So needless to say at this shoot I was so giddy to be around a little girl! Although I didn’t hold her much (my fault) I was just happy to be around the little ‘pink’ peanut! hee hee

Brynn was born a bit early and had to spend some time in the NICU. Thankfully though she IS home and doing great! So mommy had a great picture idea to show just how strong Brynn is! I, of course, LOVED it and wanted to use a photo in the sneak peek. I saved it for last!

This is little teeny tiny baby Katelynn. (I hope I spelled that right) Isn’t she just a doll?!?!? It makes me SOOOOO excited to meet our little peanut in TEN WEEKS!!!!!!!!! CRAZY! I pretty much held Katelynn as much as I could. Probably longer than taking the actual pictures. haha Don held her too. He kept commenting on how small she is. Thank you mommy Kristin for letting us hold your sweet monkey! Oh and I apologize for showing mostly all photos that have that ‘vintage’ look. They just made my heart melt!!!!!!

YEP! Finleigh is one now too! December 07/January 08 was a hot time for little girls being born! haha And guess what? Fineigh is ALSO going to be a big sister this year! Is it in the water??? The family is expecting their second in either late July/early August. Finleigh is SO grown up already that I bet she will be a HUGE help with the second baby. If mom and dad would allow it I bet she would just walk around holding the baby & feed him/her. haha
Well I hope you all enjoy this sneak peek. As always, I enjoyed myself at your house. We always have such deep, long talks afterward that I walk away rushing to wherever I was supposed to be 30 minutes prior. haha Not complaining though because if you know me well enough I truly enjoy good conversation!

OH MY AUTUMN IS ONE! Where has the time gone? It seems as though she just got here and now she is going to be a big sister in May! YIPPEE! Yep, the family is expecting a lil boy May 16th,  6 days before our lil baby _____ will be here! haha Even though we are best friends, we did not plan this, but it couldn’t have worked out better!

Some of you may recognize the munchins below from earlier this year. The younger two were on the Flint Childrens Miracle Network. I imagine you have read their story numerous times on my site, but to sum it up….. they are truly walking-talking miracles and their big brother Cameron is pretty much the coolest kid around! The Deans are very close friends of ours with great parenting advice.
DH and I will be stopping by in no time (5 mo from now haha) for a nice little get away filled with great food and even better wine!

It is crazy how much older Cameron looks. Such a sweet big brother to his younger siblings. There are MANY more adorable photos that I can’t wait for you to see later in the week! Love you all!
