I have to commend Melisa and Bryan, who chose not to find out the sex of their baby. That takes some major will power! I’m not sure if I could do that, so kudos to you two!
Their sweet baby bundle of joy is due on the 4th of July! WHAT A DAY!!! Well whenever he/she decides to arrive mom and dad are very excited to meet them.

They’re possibly the most laid back first time parents I have ever met! I think that staying level headed throughout the pregnancy definitely helps you hold it together once the baby comes.

Congratulations Melisa and Bryan! I had a great time roaming through the tall grass, pulling tent worms off of us and of course I enjoyed our conversations!
Can’t wait to meet your sweet baby in a few short weeks!

Beautiful Mama!

I realized a lot of the last ones were mainly kissing photos but hey, when clients love to kiss each other who am I to stop them!

I’ve said this before but I LOVE brave pregnant women! Mindi and Aaron were up for anything and were so fun to work with! I have met the best parents-to-be lately! I was happy to not get any weird looks when directing them. haha Their sweet baby boy is due in just a few weeks and they are READY! Mom is counting down the days till she meets him and his nursery has been finished for a while. Now that is being prepared!
Thank you for letting me come into your home and document such an exciting new part of your life’s! I wish you the best these next few weeks and can’t wait to meet your bundle of joy!

I thought this next one was fitting for the weekend.

PS - Why the heck didn’t I look as good pregnant as the past few maternity clients have?? gees! haha

I had the BEST time with this couple! I did a bit of a “storyboard” sneak peek with some of their photos to show just how WONDERFUL and easy the Waters family was to capture!  I always tell people “act as natural as possible” but I also understand that it is easier said than done, so I normally talk your head off to get everyone a little more comfortable.  I bet a few people are shaking their heads yes as they read this. But these two….oh wow… the words were barely out of my mouth when they just started talking and laughing at eachother. AHHHHH!!!! Love it!!! You can definitely tell that these two are perfect for each other and that this is one lucky little lady in the belly! Or are they the lucky ones? We will see in just a few short weeks, right?

Thank you for the espresso, the good laughs, and the fabulous photos! I really enjoyed myself and cannot wait to meet baby ______! Can’t wait to hear her name either! haha

Melissa made that canvas you see below…. I never asked why she chose those words but I’m going to guess it is because they have been waiting for this sweet baby for a long time.

OH IZZY!!!!! You are still SO loved little girl but you’re in for a surprise in a few weeks! hee hee

Isn’t that just the cutest name ever? I love the middle name! One of a kind that is for sure!!!

This sweet little boy is due right around Christmas day (Merry Christmas to you new momma) but he is ready to arrive and his momma is VERY ready for him to arrive too! haha In just 4 days (WOW!) he will be here! Couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas present!

Erika was SUCH a trooper for the shoot, it was FREEEEEEEEZING and she was willing to bare the cold without a coat and sometimes in just a tank top!!!! WOW!

This next one was when she was waiting for me to get my settings correct and it just happened to be one of my favorites…I just LOVE her hair….sometimes the best photos just happen naturally.

And then when I was ready, she threw the jacket off and my favorite photo was made! Beautiful momma!

If only we all looked as good as beautiful as Brooke when we’re 8 months preggo! (Brooke these comments are the truth!) I heard that she was “all-belly” but me-oh-my she really is ALL belly! How FANTASTIC to look and feel as good as she does on her first pregnancy!
They are expecting sweet baby girl at the end of November. I’m VERY excited for her newborn shoot! She is going to be such a cutie, I mean look at her parents. The girl has the good genes!! I have known Brooke since, oh, um…. like 3rd grade??! IDK? She is my sister Jenni’s best friend and I love and adore her like a sister too. Her DH Michael is just as great!

I had a blast with you two, as always!! I know you probably hope you aren’t, but i do hope you’re still pregnant when I head downstate again so that we can get those last few shots. So whatever you can do to slow the process down, please do. haha Too much to ask?

Well this is the update that everyone has been waiting for!!!!!

The giveaway is…drum roll please…

A 2010 *new* simple session and a press printed 10×10 hardcover custom photo book

The giveaway has now been moved to Thursday, October 15th! It will begin at 5 a.m. and end at 11 p.m. If you would like to be in the giveaway you must leave your first and last name in a comment on the giveaway post (NOT THIS ONE!) which will be posted at exactly 5 a.m. on Thursday . By the way the comment box is right above this post but below the “topic” line….right hand side….see it?

I will then take all the names and put them into random.org for my one time draw and it will randomly (weird I know) choose from the list of names. VERY exciting!!!!! A gift card will be given to the winner and must be used within a year from Oct. 15th. The winner must be able to meet my easy to live with policies. If you want to see my policies before you comment on Thursday, just contact me and I will email them to you.
I know there will for sure be some questions about the giveaway and I would LOVE to answer them. I will list, what I think will be asked, below and if there are other questions please comment on this post  and I hope to get to them before the giveaway!
Here are some questions:
*How long is the session? 90 minutes at the least

*How many pages will the book have? 10 pages (not including cover and back)

*Can we choose our own photos for the book? I will ask for your top 10 favorite photos so that I can put them into prime spots. I like to choose where a lot of the photos go so that the book makes sense and kind of tells a story….your story.

*Do I get to choose when my session takes places: You sure do! You have a year to use it and we will work together on a date that works for both of our families.

*Can I fix the giveaway? ABSOLUTELY not! I can’t even fix the giveaway! I paid random.org to choose someone for me, so this is a very fair giveaway!

Most of my clients are “up for anything” but sometimes I throw out ideas and I get this look like “you’re nuts!”  haha Understandably so! I completely understand! But with Jamie was serious when she said she was up for anything! The weather wasn’t the best to be outside, but she was a champ and smiled through it! The pictures I’m posting now are some of the first 10 photos taken! I don’t know what I said to make her laugh…..heck I might not even have said anything….sometimes I just make people laugh from some of my photo stances! “SUMO STANCE!” But when I saw these I knew they had to be posted because don’t they just make you smile and say “awe” out loud? What a super cute belly on a super cute momma! This is their second boy, big brother Blaise is going to be such a big helper! I have a few more pictures that I plan to post but I will keep you all in suspense of what Jamie let me talk her into!

I love looking at parents-to-be and trying to picture what their sweet baby will look like. Will he have momma’s mouth? Will he have daddy’s eyes? I can’t really picture what baby “W” will look like but I do think that he will most definitely be a very happy baby because his parents are just naturally happy people!

I had a blast with them (as always! I just about pee my pants when I’m with Stephanie) and I am so happy that they were up for anything and took direction very well! I’m not sure when I will be setting up backdrops outside again but thanks for being my first! haha

I cannot wait to meet you sweet baby “W”! Please be kind to your funny momma!
