SUCH a fabulous shoot!!!! I was so excited to share this sneak peek!! They were so easy going and took direction very well! Although I barely had to give any! Their family dynamic is SO wonderful and they make it VERY clear how much they enjoy being around each other. I did get teary eyed going through the photos because Nicole’s words from their client interview kept running through my head…, “Noel is everything they say a first child is, completely our life, we wonder how we ever lived without her, she is our Angel Baby!” *tear* I love it!

I hope you three had as fun a time as I did and enjoyed your family vacation!

It wasn’t windy at all!!!!

Remember this little darling?

There was a photo from his newborn session where he was wearing a hat that I had purchased on Etsy (of course) with the cross and bones sign (typical pirate sign, right?) on it and he had just one eye open. haha It was perfect! Well, that photo kind of set the “theme” of his first year. And it is perfect that the Walden family LOVES to be in the water so naturally, we headed out to the beautiful Torch Lake for some of his one year pictures!

Always a pleasure being around you Stephanie, Scott and Silas! Thank you for letting us watch Silas grow into a handsome and hilarious little toddler!

Remember this sweet baby boy newborn shoot? He is 8 months already! WOW! Time is fleeting - I say this often!

Ashton was born while his daddy was away serving our country and this shoot was taken just a week after the two of them met for the first time. (I’m not afraid to admit I’m tearing up while writing this.) Being around the three of them for a few hours, it was as if they had never been apart. They were so fabulous!

Congratulation you two on such a happy, beautiful and healthy little boy!

*Silas’s daddy made this awesome Dino cake and didn’t use any kind of instructions. Just used his creative eye!

He LOVED looking at his cake! Once he realized those little things on top were edible, he went for one while mommy removed all the others….

And then mommy removed the one from his mouth (choking reasons) and Silas wasn’t too happy. :*)

I love this family and their sweet little girls! I can’t believe that Tessa is already turning one! It seems like just a few months ago I was taking her newborn photos.

Kids say the BEST things at the BEST times! I had to laugh when I was asked 5 minutes into shooting if we “were done yet?”. Not that they didn’t have fun because they did but once mommy and I mentioned McDonalds, (yes it was my dinner; don’t judge!) that is all that Markee could think about.

I was extremely pumped for this shoot because these kiddos have big personalities!  It has been two years since I took the girls photos, so I was ready  for a dose of their awesomeness! haha Their mom, Donell, is my hair ROCKIN hairdresser! LOVE her! She is SO talented! I have to show the photo that she drew of Leighton in her NuxieMade hat with watercolor pencils! SHE IS AMAZING! I’ll upload that photo to my facebook because it is SO beautiful! It sits in a frame on our mantel!

Aurora took a little while to warm up but later in the shoot the supermodel came busting out!

LOVE these next two! They turned out EXACTLY as I saw them!

“Good times, good times!” became the catch phrase for the weekend and it FIT! I definitely had nothing but good times with this family.

They welcomed their sweet lil surprise,  Mr. Mayvn, in October and I’m pretty positive it was the happiest day of their lives. Kurtis and Lauhhna received a gift card to Melinda Ann Photography as a Baby Shower gift from some family friends. I am always SO anxious to meet the families that receive gift cards because they are typically the happiest families. I think because it is not a typical gift. Very much a surprise! But a GREAT gift idea! (if you ask me haha)

The McMahan’s were FAB.U.LOUS models but I’m sure that shows!  I had the hardest time choosing photos for the sneak peek, so once again, I just grabbed random photos from the sessions and here they are in no particular order….

The one below was actually a typical “toss-out”, I was just getting my setting’s right.  But I love this one.

It was Mr Mayvn’s first time at the beach.

I have had a crazy amount of multiple’s shoot this month! I LOVE it! Maybe it’s a sign that my own set of multiples is not too far away. Hmmm…..

These two cutie patooties are IDENTICAL to a T! I had a VERY hard time telling them apart from the second they arrived to the moment they left.  The tip they gave me was “Baylee is always in purple and Adysen never is.” (Am I wrong?)  ,so during the shoots I had to keep reminding myself of that. In between shoots they were just in their diapers and nothing in their hair to help tell them apart so I didn’t even attempt telling them apart! haha I felt like such a failure until they told me that besides them two, there are only 2 family members who know who is who. haha IT”S HARD!

I had a WONDERFUL time though! Your family is and was SO easy to capture! The girls are very lucky to have such fun loving parents!
