What a subject line! I mean it in the nicest way Jake!

Jakes daddy-o owns the junkyard in Davison so his sister, Jessica, recommend that some of his session take place there. I was ecstatic about this location! LOVE that idea for any shoot! I’m hoping they’ll be so kind to let me use it another time! *insert puppy dog eyes from Leighton*

Jake did a FABULOUS job and I really think that he should consider a modeling career. Agree?

I hope you had SOME fun Jake! Good luck in your senior year at Davison and beyond! You’re destined for great things!

Our session was actually planned for today but last weekend Annie’s family came up north camping at our campground and I suggested we take some photos up north! It worked out perfect!

She was up for anything and did a fabulous job!!!!! She took direction very well but needed very little of it! As you can see she is VERY photogenic!

Annie LOVES running! Track and Field and also, Cross Country! She is starting her senior year at Davison!

She drives an old Ford pick- up! I LOVE IT!

This is pretty much a post on how much I love my neighbors! And to show Erin some shots from her mini modeling session! Erin’s on her way to stardom! We just did this shoot to get some different pictures.

Erin is like my very own personal model/guinea pig!  Clearly, you can see that from the pictures below that she is GORGEOUS!!!!  She is such a GREAT and trusty model for me! Leighton has to work on her listening skills still then maybe she can model more! haha Erin is the best babysitter too!!!

I could go on and on and on, but I know I did that in the previous post that involved Erin.
bottom line - We love our neighbors!

Our assistants - her lil brother and Leighton - were doing nothing that they were told to do… like get us water and some fruit or to change the song! UGH! Good thing we didn’t pay them! They had fun terrorizing my downstairs as you can see! During Erin’s change of clothes, Mr. S wanted a mini shoot! haha

When we purchased the campground about 4 years ago, there were numerous seasonals and they became our summer families. Casey’s family is one of them and I can’t believe he is a senior. I remember when I was taller than him (barely, but I was) and now he towers over me and I’m pretty sure he could beat Don in a arm wrestling match. haha

A few of you have heard me rave about Erin, our neighbor and babysitter, so you’re probably sick of it. haha But now you get to put a face to a name! YIPPEE!!! For those of you that haven’t heard me talk about Erin here is a quick fyi…. she is amazing, kind, thoughtful, sarcastic (awesome), beautiful, considerate, very trustworthy, and is less than 3 minutes away. Leighton loves her and so do we!!!
Here is a sneak peak of Erin and GIGANTIC horse Keeno! I will put a more worthy sneak peak up in a few hour hours but right now Leighton has decided she comes before the rest of Erin’s sneak peak. How RUDE Leighton!

Well this is the update that everyone has been waiting for!!!!!

The giveaway is…drum roll please…

A 2010 *new* simple session and a press printed 10×10 hardcover custom photo book

The giveaway has now been moved to Thursday, October 15th! It will begin at 5 a.m. and end at 11 p.m. If you would like to be in the giveaway you must leave your first and last name in a comment on the giveaway post (NOT THIS ONE!) which will be posted at exactly 5 a.m. on Thursday . By the way the comment box is right above this post but below the “topic” line….right hand side….see it?

I will then take all the names and put them into random.org for my one time draw and it will randomly (weird I know) choose from the list of names. VERY exciting!!!!! A gift card will be given to the winner and must be used within a year from Oct. 15th. The winner must be able to meet my easy to live with policies. If you want to see my policies before you comment on Thursday, just contact me and I will email them to you.
I know there will for sure be some questions about the giveaway and I would LOVE to answer them. I will list, what I think will be asked, below and if there are other questions please comment on this post  and I hope to get to them before the giveaway!
Here are some questions:
*How long is the session? 90 minutes at the least

*How many pages will the book have? 10 pages (not including cover and back)

*Can we choose our own photos for the book? I will ask for your top 10 favorite photos so that I can put them into prime spots. I like to choose where a lot of the photos go so that the book makes sense and kind of tells a story….your story.

*Do I get to choose when my session takes places: You sure do! You have a year to use it and we will work together on a date that works for both of our families.

*Can I fix the giveaway? ABSOLUTELY not! I can’t even fix the giveaway! I paid random.org to choose someone for me, so this is a very fair giveaway!

Obviously everyone knows (or at least I hope so) that I specialize in maternity, newborn, child, and family photography. Senior photos is not my speciality but after taking my cousins senior photos, I think I’m obsessed! haha
I knew that I was capable of taking his senior photos but I will admit, I was a bit nervous.

Give me a toddler with a tantrum - I’m good!

Hand me an infant that can’t seem to fall asleep long enough for one picture - I’m good!

A family of 2 adults and 5 kids all under the age of 9 - I’m good!

But a senior? Someone old enough to take direction?  Someone who can understand my jokes? Someone who will stay in one spot and I don’t have to chase them around (not that I don’t enjoy that!) with a heavy camera and lens? Well sign me up! Let’s try this out! haha

These are JUST A FEW - literally - a few! I have many more, but I didn’t want to overload. haha Well maybe this is an overload but ……ah well….. I do what I want! haha
