What a subject line! I mean it in the nicest way Jake!

Jakes daddy-o owns the junkyard in Davison so his sister, Jessica, recommend that some of his session take place there. I was ecstatic about this location! LOVE that idea for any shoot! I’m hoping they’ll be so kind to let me use it another time! *insert puppy dog eyes from Leighton*

Jake did a FABULOUS job and I really think that he should consider a modeling career. Agree?

I hope you had SOME fun Jake! Good luck in your senior year at Davison and beyond! You’re destined for great things!

Quite possibly the happiest family ever! The kids, Cole & Ella, were always smiling! They giggle at everything so it makes it so easy to catch an adorable and genuine smile. The hardest part for Cole was keeping a straight face when I asked him too. But Ella can WORK.IT! haha

Great job Jones family! So glad you were able to make it to Northern Michigan for your shoot, it was a blast!

SUCH a fabulous shoot!!!! I was so excited to share this sneak peek!! They were so easy going and took direction very well! Although I barely had to give any! Their family dynamic is SO wonderful and they make it VERY clear how much they enjoy being around each other. I did get teary eyed going through the photos because Nicole’s words from their client interview kept running through my head…, “Noel is everything they say a first child is, completely our life, we wonder how we ever lived without her, she is our Angel Baby!” *tear* I love it!

I hope you three had as fun a time as I did and enjoyed your family vacation!

I have said this before but I’ll gladly say it again… I have been taking photos of newborns with the GREATEST names!

INTRODUCING BERKLEY MADYSON!

Isn’t she a doll? She looks a lot like her daddy right now! I imagine at some point she will resemble her beautiful mother. And isn’t her room ADORABLE?!?!?! Of course she wasn’t prepared to see her room until 5 days after her due date but the wait is always worth it.

Congratulations Leith family! I’m so happy for you! Thank you for being so sweet and feeding me yummy snacks! haha Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Annie! | castro senior sneak peek

Our session was actually planned for today but last weekend Annie’s family came up north camping at our campground and I suggested we take some photos up north! It worked out perfect!

She was up for anything and did a fabulous job!!!!! She took direction very well but needed very little of it! As you can see she is VERY photogenic!

Pirate Silas turns ONE! | silas walden sneak peek

Remember this little darling?

There was a photo from his newborn session where he was wearing a hat that I had purchased on Etsy (of course) with the cross and bones sign (typical pirate sign, right?) on it and he had just one eye open. haha It was perfect! Well, that photo kind of set the “theme” of his first year. And it is perfect that the Walden family LOVES to be in the water so naturally, we headed out to the beautiful Torch Lake for some of his one year pictures!

Always a pleasure being around you Stephanie, Scott and Silas! Thank you for letting us watch Silas grow into a handsome and hilarious little toddler!

This is my cousin Emily! Isn’t she GORGEOUS!?!?!?

We had the BEST time taking her senior photos…well I can only speak for myself, but I think she had fun! She was up for anything and went with whatever I suggested! Which made me a very happy photographer.

Happy 8 Months Sweet Boy | ashton gray sneak peek

Remember this sweet baby boy newborn shoot? He is 8 months already! WOW! Time is fleeting - I say this often!

Ashton was born while his daddy was away serving our country and this shoot was taken just a week after the two of them met for the first time. (I’m not afraid to admit I’m tearing up while writing this.) Being around the three of them for a few hours, it was as if they had never been apart. They were so fabulous!

Congratulation you two on such a happy, beautiful and healthy little boy!
