ABOUT ME

Hmm….where do I start? Well I remember receiving my first camera from my Grandparents for Christmas when I was about age 10. I cannot remember the brand but I remember it being HOT PINK! I took some hilarious “modeling” photos of my baby sister, posing her in front of my New Kids on the Block posters. (OH OH OH She’s my cover girl!!! Oh Oh Oh!)  I’m not sure where that camera is or when it was misplaced but I think it disappeared around the time that I became very interested in clothes, friends, and of course… boys!  Many years later I found my love for photography again once my first niece was born in 2005. So I guess you could call her my “muse”. So Thank You Grace for helping me find my passion in life.

I feel so blessed to be doing something that I love and being supported by the ones that I love!

Melinda resides in Williamsburg, Michigan with her DH Don, her DD Leighton, and her 2 “fur” babies Boadie and Cobber.

MY STYLE

My style has been described as natural, genuine, with a kick of “gutsy”. Smiles, pouts, funny faces, and giggles… I love it all! My sessions are very relaxed. I understand that little ones sometimes need breaks for feedings or snacks, or some extra TLC, or even a moment to explore their surroundings. So I won’t rush you or a child. I absolutely adore creating portraits that make you smile every time you see them.
